After-action reports
Took it out of the box and went straight for the full zip. The skull closes right over your face and the dog tag pull stops at the bridge of your nose. Stood in front of the mirror way too long. Black, size L, baggy like I wanted.
I'm 5'4 and took a small. The sleeves cover my hands and the hem sits low, which is exactly the look. I mostly wear it unzipped with the skull flaps open at the collar. The washed black looks better in person than in the photos.
The Bravo Six night-vision skull covers most of the upper back and the colors are sharp. Fleece is thick, more like a light jacket than a hoodie. Wore it to a friend's place and got asked where it's from twice.
The Task Force patch and the reticle badge are stitched on properly, no loose threads. Metal zip runs smooth all the way up over the face. Cuffs and hem are ribbed and hold their shape. Only note: it runs big, so size down if you don't want it boxy.
Wear it unzipped most days with the hood down. Heavy enough for cold mornings, and the kangaroo pocket fits my phone and keys. People notice the skull flaps on the collar before anything else.
Walked to the train at about -3°C fully zipped with the hood up. Face and ears stayed warm. The eye slot fogs a little if you breathe hard, so I unzip to the chin once I'm inside. Arrived in about two weeks.

Briefing
The balaclava is sewn into the collar. Pull the zip all the way up and it closes over your nose and mouth, leaving only an eye slot. Pull the big outer hood over the top for the full look. Unzip to the chest and it sits like a neck gaiter.
Heavyweight brushed fleece with a mineral-washed black finish, a kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a metal zip with a dog-tag pull. The skull print sits on the mask; the patches and emblems are embroidered.
